If I didn’t kill anyone, then how did I get LK’s corpse into the police station? |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

I was gonna set up a scene where I PM each person to tell them what they see, but it basically consisted of:
The cops are done for the night, leaving the station, you (sop, not the other cops) run into a strange old lady, who starts talking to you. Your conversation consists basically of:
Old Lady: The Assassin has sent me. He is [starts humming]: A prodigy, monsieur! Scholar, architect, musician.
Sop: A composer . . .
Old Lady: And an inventor too, monsieur. They boasted he had once built for the Shah of Persia, a maze of mirrors . . .
sop: Who was this man . . .?
Old Lady: [laughs manically, revealing self as Incog in disguise, then sings this line:] To everyone he meets, he stays a stranger!
The final line is from the song "Secret Agent," which also served as the theme song for the Danger Man/Secret Agent TV series (titled Danger Man in Britain, S.A. in America) where the hero is named Drake.
Would’ve been a dead giveaway if anyone figured out what it was from, but oh well. Doesn’t seem to have mattered.
Anyway, other cops would have seen the conversation from a distance; ie, Dain hides in the bushes to watch, but can’t hear what’s being said; he just sees you meeting with some strange person in a disguise NK doesn’t see the conversation at all, but instead sees Dain sneaking around in the bushes, etc.
I’d PM everyone all this, and leave it up to you guys to figure it all out. Maybe even get some false arrests out of the deal. And since you actually know who I was anyway, I’d just ask you to wait until someone actually asked for your bit of the story before posting it.
Ah, but my cunning plan never came to fruition.
Darn. |

What gave you away? 3 things led me to arrest you AD.
1. You have mentioned the DC boards once or twice which meant you were a regular there to know what was going on and that narrowed it down.
2. You used the moriarty clue i nicknamed you.
3. Youre spelling punctuation and grammar was pretty awesome which limits the number of people you can be, as it sure wasnt H13 or SoP!
I had thought about you for a while now but i didnt want to bring the game to an uneccessary premature halt so early as we were solving the clues and having fun but i couldnt solve this clue about gollums songs so i decided to stop you by ACTUALLY stopping you. Sorry! I am actually annoyed i did this now as i would have liked this next clue thing you were planning.
You were definately a very good assassin AD. Hats off to an excellent murderer.
What was the explanation for the gollums song AD? |

"They gnaws our feet" and the shoe commercial, pointing towards Dain, and ES. (along with potentially other people I hadn’t thought of at the time, like menace)
Out of the lot, though, ES was the one where cold hard lands gnawing feet was the most relevant. Unless I missed someone else obvious, but since -- if there is someone else it fits really well, you guys didn’t think of them either, it didn’t end up mattering |

whats funny about this, is how many grammar punctuation and spelling errors this post had.
I skipped a lot of punctuation there to be fair yes, but point me out all these spelling and grammar mistakes! I think this proves you dont know what they are which explains you’re lack of use of them! |

Ah, just two spelling errors.
And two that I myself make regularly.
Lem0n, I hereby absolve you. |
