UNC had a good run against Kansas, but the Jayhawks played the better game. 
And to see Memphis blow the championship out their butts.... why didn’t they call a timeout before Chalmers could hit the 3? Or even heave it downcourt on the last play and hope to get a better shot than the desperate attempt that was made. |

I learned to go with my heart...which was screaming Kansas, instead of my head gut and other parts...
foul trouble really was what killed memphis...not having dorsey in overtime...and simply put Kanasas DEPTH in big men. They made so many inside shots why? cause they always had at least one fresh big guy out there, arthur, kaun, jackson, even aldrich.
and CDR will never forget his missed free throws 
they did what they should have done at the end of regulation (aside from miss free throws...)if they had heaved it there is the chance chalmers would’ve caught it and made the shot from the opposite free throw line. OT is better than a sure loss... |
