What would you people think of some star wars RPG’s?
One RPG I am thinking of would be called “resistance on Naboo” it would be free-form.
In it there would be gungans and naboo security forces pitted against Droids. You could be a Naboo soldier, a Gungan warrior, or a Droid commander.
My character is a Naboo soldier
Name: Tyk Chanlin
Age:32
Race: man
Class: Soldier-commander
Equipment: Guard pistol, blaster rifle, flash speeder.
Personality: Very loyal to Naboo He has an intense hatred for neimodians and their droid soldiers.
Skills He is great with his blaster and is a good flash speeder pilot.
History Born and raised on Naboo he began service in the Royal guard at age 20 after a year of training. He participated in a war versus a large pilot organization and got a lot of experience from it. He participated in training and drills for 5 years until he was promoted to lieutenant and given 10 soldiers to stop a small gang of criminals. He won but at the cost of 2 of his soldiers. The experience changed him and he worked hard to eliminate all evil from Naboo. When the droid invasion landed he with a small contingent of soldiers and Gungans began a resistence movement.
If you like this idea post and say who you think should be the GM. I have quite a bit of knowledge about SW and I did think up this idea.

| Star Wars would be fun...I could even see a "Jedi Training Academy", where you could raise characters’ Force abilities. For example, you wouldn’t be allowed to start a character as a Jedi Master. But after enough sessions in training, he could become that. |

or you could say after he had posted 10 good posts as that character he could become jedi knight. anyone else? |

Since this is a new procedure, let me clarify how new RP forums work...
To get a dedicated Star Wars Role-playing forum set up, there must be at least five people who will actually be making posts in it. Unfortunately "I possibly might be interested" won’t convince me. 
If you are indeed interested, create a character profile like those in the LOTR RP forum (SoP also provided a good model above) and post it here. When we have five characters, the new forum will be created, this thread will be moved to it, and the Game Master (whoever you guys elect) can kick things off. |

My character will also be a Naboo soldier, seeing as how jedi is not yet an option.
Name: Syrus Nevelin
Age: 25
Race: man
Class: soldier.
Equipment: two very trusty blasters.
Personality: He has become a very loyal soldier, not much to Naboo, but to his friends and fellow soldiers. He is quite and reserved, but also very snide and sarcastic at times. He cares little for ideals, believing them things people use to justify violence. His favorite quote is: "When im mean to someone, i’m just mean to them. I dont pretend like i’m doing everyone a favor."
Skills One of the fastest draws in his sqaud, he has become respected for his speed and accuracy with his two small blaster pistols.
History His father was a frieghter pilot, and became quite wealthy by beginning his own company. Instead of flying ships, he settled down to run the business from the quiet and peacefull planet of Naboo. His only worry was his teenage son, who was becoming quite a nuicance. So, Syrus was enlisted in the army. He never forgave his parents, especially his father, for doing that to him. Now he considers his family behind him, his brothers are his fellow soldiers, and now the closest thing to a father he has is his commander. |
