This message is essentially for Cobra, but I want to know what you guys think [that is, when I say "you guys" I mean members of CobraCards.]
Spam will be banned from the members lounge. We wont have the flaming, the one line responses and the off-topic posts that we’ve been having the last few days [weeks, months]. Instead, the members lounge will be for productive non-LOTR related discussions where I’ve seen menace64 and Brian Bonito are good at starting, but our spammers [myself included] kill them off. The threads that discuss whether we think gravity is real, where we look to talk about our vacations, where we discuss what your favorite band is, will remain there. And once again, members lounge posts will count towards your total number of posts.
But, there will be a "Casual Discourse" forum, branching off of the "Members Lounge" forum, or another one underneath Members lounge or whatever where we can discuss and spam all we want. We can talk about who’s CobraCards group is better, ask each other stupid questions, talk about how wierd it is that elf lvr is a girl, whatever you want to. And here your post count will not go up.
What do you guys think?

first off, ur mean.
secondly, good idea. we should have an area for productive non-lotr conversation, and a seperate area for funny spamming. |

Thanks for the compliment, tOO, but I don’t mind when the threads get hijacked. At least it’s something to read every now and then.
And yes, it was a suprise to find out you were a girl. Funny how this internet thing fosters androgyny. |
