Who here plays paintball?
What kind of gun do you have?
Any good stories?

Just last weekend I was playing. 8vs8 for 7 games and I got 15 kills and got shot 4 times that day. I grabbed the flag for the win 3 times.

I don’t play but I played once with a friend and his dad.

I borrowed a really bad gun... horrible.

So story times:
I was with my friend doing 2 on 1 against his dad. I went to the left, he went to the right, and his dad moved towards my side and went prone along this bunker lined up along the side. So i tried shooting him but i couldnt get him and he almost hit me a few times. Next thing i know the gun shots stop... followed closely by footsteps.... I said "Oh $h!!" and started running around in circles around my bunker. He was on the opposite running after me. Eventually he managed to poke the gun around the corner and shoot me on my shoulder blade.... i had a welt the size of my hand Sad

Than this team came with complete forest camo and wanted to play against people in the forest. As if they didn’t have enough of an edge, they even cheated by not giving up when they got shot. So it was me, my friend, and some other guy on the right and about 5 people on the left. Supposedly the right side got bombarded. The other gy on my side got hit so it was just me and my friend. Than everyone on the other team on the other side, who killed all my guys, came over to my end and started shooting at us. I was stuck behind a bunker knelt down with constant bullets hitting. Every now and than i’d poke up and fire some but my gun sucked and I couldnt see them. They had camo and my glasses were fogging up. So I turn to my right to ask my friend for cover fire so I could move up to another bunker. When I looked at him, he had his hands raised up and was putting on the gun condom.... so again... i was like "Oh $h!!". Eventually, I poked my head up at the wrong time and it hit me straight in the forehead.

I actually managed to shoot someone. My gun was bad so i had to prop it up and rainbow the ball over and between 2 bunkers and hit him right on the top of his head.

ahh i kno what its like... I had a JT probably $70 gun, but it jammed up everytime I pulled the trigger too fast. So when I got surrounded by like 3 people it was game over for me.

Now I have a Tipman Custom Pro with 4x scope. "virtually impossible to jam or misfire" 1500 balls shot from it and not a single one misfired that day.

Our field has this opening in the middle. It’s got all kinds of crap to hide behind like wood piles and stuff, but it is only good when you know you have control of the woods on both sides. (sometimes we put the flags in the middle of it)
I was once sitting in a spot on the side behind a couple logs and cleared up their offensive from the side by killing 2 of their guys. All of a sudden, a guy comes running into the middle behind wood pallet, and has no idea I’m at his 7 oclock. He bends over in his little defensive position and waves his hand to tell his teamates from the other side of the clearing to move forward.
As he is bending over, he is giving me the FULL MOON! I wanted to get this shot off perfectly, so I put my scope right on his crack, and just then one of my teamates comes up and whispers "wait! lets do it together on 3".
"3, 2, 1" We lit up his @$$ literally. That was funny as hell.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Yeah it hurts if that’s all your thinking about. I remember the first few times all I wanted to do was hide and not get hit! I wore two sweat shirts and 2 pairs of pants even when it was 75 degrees.

Later, i got more into the games and got shot in the leg. I didnt know it till after the game was over... with the adrenaline going, it feals like a little pinch.

Now I like to play with only a camo t-shirt and pants, and I am very aggressive. More confidence in my tippman, more mobility, and better tactics.
If you take 5 seconds to duck down in a trench or behind a tree, I will run up on you. There is not much you can do when I know exactly where you are and you have the wrong impression of where I am.

Last time though, I was 10 feet away from this girl who was ducking under a downed tree... I was standing there with my gun waiting for her to pop up to shoot, and she somehow managed to get me anyway. lol that was weird too...I had another 3 of my teamates watching from about 25 yards.
She hit me 4 times in the mask and 6 in the chest. It was like a 15 second shoot-out because I took a few shots and dropped to the ground and rolled behind a tree... then she jumped up and pointed that gun down my face.
The other 3 guys got her but not before I was covered in yellow.

I got her back the next game though... same girl same place. This time I was about 25 yards away with my scope on her position. She popped up, and I got her between the eyes in one shot.

I’ve played a big game of Diaper wars. They are Diapers that have duck tape around them. It was in the basement of a church at night. It was pretty fun. ONe team had party hats, the other didn’t. One time our team was making a stand in a classroom, there were enemies on both sides, I was out collecting diapers in the crossfire, and I got hit by someone who I thought was on my team Sad

I wore pants and a light short sleeve shirt..... needless to say i wasn’t really scared of getting shot... except for my hands (got shot in the thumb once) and my private area... you would need a REALLY good aim for that.... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Dancing
