Name’s Ransom, which is a reference to an obscure series by C. S. Lewis. I’ve actually only been playing LOTR for about a year and a half, but have traded or bought way to many cards in that time.
I am 19, and yet another of the home-schooled, white-boy, republican, Christians. One of theses days I might actually get an avatar and a sig.

I’m TheJord or, TJ as lem0n called me, referencing my name Jordan. Like lem0n I’m from the UK also in North Wales, not far from Manchester (home of the greatest football club ever, Man U!). 21, almost 22 and getting married in June to a girl I met in Vancouver, Canada while I was a missionary out there
Been playing since about RotK and as everyone who sees my decks knows I love Knights and Besiegers. Gondor in general really. Right now I dont have anyone around me who plays so I am consigned to coming on here to tune my decks to the hope of one day using them.
I think I might win the unique-ness bid on this thread, I am a Mormon, but it would be cool if there are any other Mormon’s on the site. So i dont drink either but I enjoy a good root-beer too  Oh yeah that explains the missionary in Canada bit aswell.
This shall be other ’local’ now to The Griffin. lem0n knows what I mean. |

Well, ok, let’s try to ramp up the unique-ness contest! 
My name is, well, Felipe Musco (people on CC call me FM, people all over Brazil call me Musco, I’m thinking on changing my username to it) and I’m 22.
I’m brazillian, from Rio de Janeiro (famous all round the world for it’s cool beaches), and I’m pale as a sheet of paper, and hate the sun and sand in general. I live now in Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina, which is MORE beautiful than Rio (yep, it really is, trust me), being a big Island with 42 beaches (and I still don’t go to them a lot). My town has temperature swings so big that a given day may start at 13º C, reach the peak of 28º C, and then fall back to 12º C at night, but it’s a REALLY cool city. There are some other towns in my State in which it snows (a lot of people think that Brazil is summer-all-year), and I just LOVE winter and col weather.
Although I’m white and have light hair and green eyes, I love oriental culture, and can’t really cook anything except for really easy stuff, and sushi and sashimi in general (yeah, I know, weird...). I practice kendo, meaning I have katanas in my house and know how to use them properly and "deadly-ly"... 
What else? I have a really cool job, although part of it is desk-job. I’m on the internet almost 24 hours a day, but really hate computers. I listen to practially every single type of music available, and will find somethig I like in any one of them, although my personal favorites are from the punk rock style.
I played soccer as goal keeper, and later (until today) as striker. I have 9 medals won as goalie, but only 3 as a striker (I stopped competing really soon fater the switch). Then, I played basketball as a small guard, peaked at shooting 68-70% from the 3-pt range (yes, I know it sounds absurd) one season winning a medal, and then my team got dismantled (although I still play it for fun). I also was on a rowing team for a year winning another medal, and played tennis for 3 months, but didn’t like it. My coach entried me in a tournament, but I never went. Even though all of this, I’m usually seen as a "nerdy" guy (nope, no glasses), and LOVE videogames (not computer games, though), having more than 200 games between PS1 and PS2 alone, which I finished a vast majority. Oh, and I’m also a Dungeon Master for a D&D playgroup.
I played LotR since Fellowship, and me and my associate played until the release of The Return of the King, when the game got too expensive here, having won 1st place in 26 out of 27 tournaments we played (either him or me in first), AND winning second or third place on 27 of those (the one we didn’t win, we finished me in second and him in third).
Nowadays I play MTG, and I like to think I’m finally getting good at it, I may run for Nationals this year.
I’ve had a girlfriend for almost 4 years now, and she’s, like the best. Too good for me, if you ask me. She’s even learned to play MTG and now plays me for practice, although she’s still a rookie.
I study Law (and so does she) at one of the best Universities in the country, I’m graduating next year ( for my Graduation Paper, I’m actually REWRITING A FEDERAL LAW, hope that turns out good  ); work 8:30 hours a day, work at the community Law Firm the University runs as, by all means, a lawyer; write articles on Law AND MTG each month; read around 2 books a month; play on every single MTG tournament that happens here on weekends; and I’m also running for the Academic Center of Law School (or somehting by that value... can’t translate it well). I speak portuguese (duh!), english, spanish and french.
I have 1 brother and 3 sisters, although only 1 sister and my brother lives with us nowadays (my mom and my step-father), and my brother is in Canada right now in an Interchange Program from Automative Engineering.
I say what I think, and I think what I want, although I’m always open to debate and arguments, unless that argument involves God or some other phony entity. I debate on REAL arguments, not made-up ones.
That said, I don’t like alcohol all that much, but drink ocasionally (I love sake, though), I was baptized, but chose to be an atheist in religion, and a thaoist in philosophy (most of the time), and I don’t even imagine what it’s like to be home-schooled, that such thing does not happen ’round here. Period.
I can shoot guns (pretty well, actually), and hope to get my license abotu the same time I expect to pass the bar for becoming a Judge.
I can go from liberal to conservative in 2 seconds, and I make fun of everything, and everyone, usually resorting to sarcasm (my favorite form of humor, which in turn makes me like physcosick, even though no one else does  - just kidding, I’m sure elf lvr does ). I’m on AIM and MSN, feel free to add me if you want, and I think it’d be really cool if someday we could organize a meeting from the guys here in Brazil (my house has around 4-5 vacant rooms, and it can fit a grand total of something like 20 people easily). You can see a picture taken from my bedroom (that’s the view from my window, and yep, it’s THAT huge of a window...) here. The one next to it is from my gf (no, not the Ferrari).

Good for you! Trust me, marriage is great. I know I’m still in that first-year "honeymoon period" and this is supposed to wear off and get dull, but I don’t see it happening. When you find the right person, getting to be with them all the time is fantastic.

If you dont drink this "local" is so much better! To be fair i dont drink either, but out of choice, but i can do if needs be.

Musco: Wow that was a detailed view of your life mate, intriguing life. IM jealous of Brazil as you produce the finest footballing talent on the face of the earth. If i’m not supporting England (as they usually get knocked out) i follow Brazil!

Never made it to Sheffield but I would love to go to a tournament some time. I work in Tesco so I am usually in on weekends.
And your right about England, we are jip most of the time.

Congrats to all of you on the marriage stuff! Lots of us seem to be heading in that direction. Although, not me, it would be weird if I was (I’m only 14).
Sorry I didn’t mention you, physosick. I’m just not a regular MTG forum member. Or political debater.
Gosh, AC, I can’t wait for you to come back to town again! It’ll be good to see the old club again (and maybe I can win, once).
And Felipe, it would be awesome to get all the guys somewhere for some card-playing. Especially in Brazil.

It’s hot, and humid, and my allergies are starting to nag me. Good ol’ April thru September miserable season.
My niece was born the 18th, so I’m an uncle for the second time.
