Think of this thread as your local pub or drinking zone where you can pull up a stool and chat over a frosty  beer.
I want to use this to get to know stuff about the peeps on here. You all seem to have been on here forever and know each other, ive even heard you discussing going round each others house!
For a start i come from England and am 23, im gathering most of you are from usa except corvus who is greek and a few others i know of. I get my name from the Curse Of Monkey Island, and i have 7-8 years of experience playing LOTR TCG from mom.
Let me know where you live, where you get your name and how long youve been playing etc... or anything else you want to submit.
The only things ive seemed to pick up are SoP spams... hard...a lot... NB’s pretty good at it to. AP and AC are the sort of authorities around here. Bib of course i no from D boards and knows EVERYTHING, ask him if you dont believe me. Elf lvr seems to be an emo vampire or something equally odd. DI seems to be the DC king.
Few questions i really want to know:
Did AC get his name from the obvious play on words from the moria ancient chieftain?
Why is SoP sick of palantirs? The card or the actual objects?
BtO and SoP are brothers?
CG means seize the guitar? |

Oh, I get my name from airsoft...
When you get hit with an airsoft BB it makes a welt on yer skin, so if I pla allot, and am good at it, i give lots of people welts, thus, Masswelter13 (oh, and the 13 at the end mean thirteen yr. old.)
I have been playing for around 3 years.
I live in USofA KS... But my heart lies in texas! |

Yeah me and the spammer sop are bros.
Quite a few of the chaps on here are from iowa, or ioway depending on the accent.
Like Gagnut and fingolfin, the crazy twins, YourStikenFace, he thought up ’is name in like 3 seconds, his little bro peterpot, Aragron Ellasar, the rarely seen Legolamb and Shieldelf....

I THINK I remember him saying so way back in the day. That was a long time ago, though, so I don’t remember for sure.

As for me, I’ve been here only since January of this year, but I was around the Decipher forums for a good long while a couple years ago, so I already "knew" several of the old-timers here once I moved in.
My big not-so-much-anymore-secret: I’ve never played LOTR TCG. I don’t own even one single card. But I am, as I like to say, a "student of the game". I think LOTR is awesome and saw the game way back when it first came out, since I was into Decipher’s Star Trek and Star Wars card games back then. I’ve followed it ever since, because it’s awesome too. On a whim, I joined the Decipher boards and whipped up some dream cards, people seemed to like them, and so I made more. And then more. And before I knew it, I had hundreds of cards. So I figured, ’what the heck?’, and now I’m making several full-blown DC sets. I got busy a while ago and disappeared and quit, then found out about CC and got into it again. So here I am, new and improved. 
As for more personal stuff, I’m 26 (I’ll be 27 in 3 months...jeez, when did I get so old?!) and married as of last July. Got a nice little place in a town called Beltsville, which is in Maryland about 30 minutes outside of Washington, DC. I like, in no particular order, bouldering (look it up in Wiki if you don’t know what it is ), reading, traveling to new places (I’d LOVE to get to the UK, lem0n), hanging out with friends, dogs, hunting (when I get to do it), fishing, Halo, certain board and card games, and beef jerky! Yum. 
I do NOT like my job much, but hey, it’s a living. It’s a boring desk job with the government, and I have an hour+ commute just to get there...or get back home. Yuck. But it DOES pay the bills, so I can’t complain. I CAN (and do) look for work closer to home, probably with a different agency, but time will only tell if that ever pans out.
Oh, and when I’m not hiding behind a Dwarf avatar, people call me Ryan. 
Uh...anything else? I think that about covers it. |

I’m a guy yu prolly haven’t really seen. You won’t hear from me much but when you do be prepared for the angry rants of a 19 year old, democratic, agnostic venting off on the opinions of others regardless of what they may be... and regardless of if I object or supposrt their views...
I also like to interupt at random moments to make fun of something and create a comic relief... I also enjoy making fun of elflve at random times for historical purposes.
I got my name by refrencing a wrestler on Quake 3 senior year at high school in computer prgramming class. I misspelled i but it stuck with me plus i like it. And I have attributed a meaning behind it which i’m not going to get into. Plus, my cool name got some attention on other forums and I actually met my girlfriend because of it... love this name... of course i uslaly use physcosickmondo... also go by sic, physcosic, physco[sic]... etc, etc...
as for the drinking... i enjoy vodka and spiced rum... also randomly enjoy Mike’s hard lemonades but I can’t stand beer. Kind of gets in the way of my friends when playing Kings or beer Pong but there r ways. Never mix vodka with a Mocha Late... I drank a mix and fell alseep as soon as i finished the 20oz... woke up an hour later sick with no one in the room with me. Everyone else was in the study lounge putting a 200 piece puzzle together. Don’t drink moonshine... my eyes began to hurt emensely so i stopped drinking that and went with chasing rum shots... started hearing voices in my head until i fell asleep and woke up unable to move for a while...
Oh and I pretty much hate everyone... Felipe is ok  ... and tOO isn’t around much anymore  |

Ok, NOW I’m flattered! Although you pretty much just said that to get me to join your team anyway!  (just kidding).
Yeah, physcosick, alongside good ol’ inresponse, is about the most random guy in the Forums, really, although when he pops up to make fun of somehting, it usually gets alaugh from me.
AC get his name from trying to say the card’s name Ancient Chieftain in themiddle of a game, and for some bizarre reason, by that time, it sounded Anxious Chieftain, so he had a good laugh of it, and the name stuck.
sickofpalantirs, as far as I remember, wanted to type in six palantirs and mistyped it, too.
CG means "seize the guitar" (in a "forced" way, though), yeah, he loves to play it. |
