There is an immense range of opinions, beliefs, and lifestyles that fit under that term. (Compare psycosick to NBarden) As a result, it is nearly impossible to characterize the "average" American. On the environment, for instance, here is just a sampling of opinions. All of these are held by large numbers of people.
1. The problem doesn’t exist.
2. There is a problem, but humans didn’t cause it and can’t do anything about it.
3. There is a problem, but fixing it would cost to much or wouldn’t be worth the side effects.
4. There is a problem, and we must fix it at all costs.
That is a void argument. If population is given in numbers, then it’s only a matter of time, patience and mathematics to define an "average" american, and yeah, most of the time, natives ARE the most accurate in providing non-mathematical "average" perspective on citizens. |
