NB nailed what I was going to say.

Communism is going completely on the idea that man is good. We can see through history, man is not good. look at Adolf Hitler, complete nut who masacred hundreds of thousands.

Communism comes into play from the easter religions. America is/was based on Christian principles. We it a spiritual war that is fighting for the heart of America, that is why communism is a big deal.
There is a power in this world beyond any of us, and Jesus is that power and The Savior.

Cool this is my attempt to look cool.

In regards to Hilter, you have to admit that he was a genius. He was actually quite an amazing leader, one able to revitalize a whole defeated country of Germany. Had he stopped at Germany’s revival and not tried to take over the whole world, he would have most assuredly gone down in history as one of the greatest leaders of all time.

Actually, more in the 6+ million ballpark. And that was during the Holocaust alone. And that was only the Jews.

And hindsight is 20/20. Razz If you took over a country, would stop and think, "Well, one country is enough for me; I’ll stop now," or would you think "If I can take over a country, I can take over the world."

Yep. Hitler thought the same thing. Razz

gil-estel, I have to disagree with you on the fact that one man having more in monetary terms than another man is wrong. Why should a man who lives on the street and uses "coffee money" to buy a fifth of liquor every chance he gets receive the same treatment as a man who works his tail off to build a business?

It just doesn’t work out.
I had to put something here.

Well, seeing as I am a modest and humble guy, I think I know when I’ve done my job, so I would stop at just the one country. Wink Hilter, well, he was just too power hungry, and though the power according to his stature was indeed very great, he was but one man.

Okay, you’re beginning to scare me.

Hitler was a bloodthirsty murderer who worshiped Satan and was obsessed with the occult. He was racist and tyrannical. He was originally established as a puppet leader, but overthrew the German government with his brutality. He was evil all through.

Are you saying that some people shouldn’t have to work? Capatalism is based on every man working hard for himself. It disgusts me that you people want to take the profit of one man’s hard labor and give it to someone else.
You know what, diffrent people have diffrent work ethics; you can not take something that a man worked hard for and give it to someone else.
You seem to like flaunting the words ’fair’ and ’sharing’, however communism is un-fair because it takes one man’s goods and gives it to someone else. I don’t how many times I have to say this. -GT

It’s called compassion on your fellow man. Not all poor people are lazy you know in fact a lot of lower class people work far far harder than many middle or upper class people do. It is the system that is geared against them in America with it’s low minimum wage and it’s ridiculous health system. And NBarden you seem to be under the impression that I am advocating forced redistribution of wealth. I am not I simply saying just because people want to introduce some socialist elements into society does not mean that they are communist it means that they wish to help those in need which we as christians should be doing anyway. Christianity in no way supports capitalism because it teaches that we should give up our material possessions to follow god. It also says that we should regularly give to the poor and help those in need. Christianity is about the life beyond not the material joys of this world which we cannot after all take with us into eternity.

Where did I say that’s its wrong to have more then your fellow-civilian? I don’t think that is wrong, but I think it becomes wrong if you have all the wealth in the world and just watch how other people who have less, can’t seem to make a living for their selves! That is wrong. You can’t say that they should work harder, because maybe they work harder then you do. Showing compassion, that should be our main goal! And as an other person tried to tell us by pointing at the bible, is exactly my point. The first christian community was all about sharing. They sold everything they got just to give to those who have less. So it;s a biblical principe. And to say that it won’t work because we are evil isn’t an excuse. We should try, rather then wash our hands and say, well, he sorry, we can’t help it being jerks....
