Well...I know that a lot of debaters are on CobraCards, from a thread I posted awhile back, but I’m wondering how many people here are debating this year? And NCFCA debaters?
BTW, the resolution is...
Resolved: That the United States federal government should substantially change its policy on illegal immigration.
And I’m running an activate the national guard case (Or some sort of militarize the border case).
Anyway, if there are a lot of people, maybe we could do a CC research club or something. Ransom is at west point, AgentDrake is still on here, Ninja Gimli isn’t on that much, and never was, I’m not sure how many other people debate, but if you debate post here. |

I debate unofficially. But I will start debating more (i hope) since I am going into david quine’s world views. (Are you blasting National Guards, if you are I will debate you on that.  ) |

I have no idea what the NCFCA thing is, and I dont usually keep up with news, but I have beenin a small model UN at my school. I was in it, but I quit, then was asked back. I have experiance, but VERY minimal... |

Yep, I’m still going at it. To be honest, I hate the new resolution, though. The LD one is okay, but I hate the TP one.
At least the previous topics have had interesting topics behind them.
Ie, Agriculture policy: research and learn about Agricultural programs, Genetic modification, et cetera.
Trade Pol with Middle East and Africa: Whatever commodities you can think of that get traded through there, in addition to trade and economics in general.
Protectorates: Places like Puerto Rico, US Federal relations with non-state portions of the Us, like PR, USVI, etc.
Energy Policy and Oil: Geography and Geology, alternate energy sources, alternate methods of acquiring oil
MedMal: The US Court system, medical procedures, and the ever-debated "good doctor, bad doctor; good lawyer, bad lawyer, good patient, bad patient" circle.
NATO: International relations, military co-op, Cold War ramifications in today’s world, 9/11 ramifications on international relations.
And now, Immigration: Mexicans. Nothing against the mexicans and the canadians, mind you, but I don’t find the study of Mexicans and Canadians all that interesting.... |
