| I’m probably going to get into trouble with a lot of people for this post, but anyway... I don’t think that a woman should be the Commander in Chief of our armed forces. Based on past observations of multiple women, about once a month we would be nuking a small country for no reason other than, "I have the power to do it." |

Yes, you’re going to get in a lot of trouble, starting with me.
A woman would be a far more responsible head of the armed forces.
Men have wars and build weapons basically because they feel insecure about their ’manliness’. A woman is far more unlikely to worry about how big her penis is compared to that of other countries (to use a vulgar metaphor); she won’t show it off, she won’t try to get it extended and she won’t let it rule her actions.

basically, i believe that men were created and designed to lead, and that role has been inverted by our current culture. that does not mean that men are better at leading than women, not by any means, but it is their role.
there have been a fair number of women leaders throughout history. look at Joan of arc and you see that a woman can head an army. she lead the French military quite effectively. |

To that Thranduil I have only a few things to say:
Firstly; that we do not build weapons because we are ’insecure’.
It is amazing how many people are so sure in what they believe- without knowing anything. Peace can only be attained by superior firepower. Other
countries will not leave America alone because we ’ask nicely’. More than ever America is weak! The struggling power-hungry buracreacy, the pacifist
idiots, the mass of people who are fed lies and garbage daily by the newspapers. On top of this we do not need a woman like Hillary, we
need a man like Theodore Roosevelt, whose motto was:
"Speak softly, and carry a big stick." What that means is that we should be
strong; but also not warmongers, seeking to defend and protect, not inslave and conquer.
For as Eoywn said in The Lord of The Rings; Those without swords can
still die upon them.
I agree with Merrick Hale. 100%. -GT |

I don’t believe a woman should be in control of the U.S. My view is that men should be the leaders because men were made to be leader. I don’t believe it is right to put the presure on a woman. I don’t think a woman should be over a man. It is not there place.
America was based off a Biblical world view. The Bible states men are ’over’ women. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t agree with exercising that power in a wrong way. But it should be the man who is incharge of the family, and nation. (My oppenion)
I believe Hillary Clinton will exersice her power because she is the first woman president and wants the power, and because she can.
I hope she doesn’t make it to president because she will do things I don’t agree with. |

Sm calling them sexist is entirely unnecessary. M_H based his words on observations of other women, NOT off sexism.
I55 said this is the reason he doesn’t want her to be prez
I hope she doesn’t make it to president because she will do things I don’t agree with.
That is a reason anyone doesn’t want someone else to be president, not sexism.
GT said nothing about sexism at all.
mm agreed that woman can be very good leaders.
NONE of this is sexist, I could argue you calling them sexist is sexist, but that will lead no where. |

i missed your comments Sm, but i have to agree with SoP, i don’t really think that this is about sexism. however, I55, i cannot entirely agree with you. the bible states that in the church women should not have authority over men, see Titus 2. the bible doesn’t teach that "men are over women".
i still believe that men were designed to lead nations. there are women who are better at leading than a lot of men. but i still think that it is the duty of men.
and for the record, i’m not by any means trying to be sexist. |

The Bible states men are ’over’ women.
That is not technically what the Bible says at all. The Bible states that men and women have different roles and that it is the man’s role to lead the women. It does not say that men are over women. |
