| Plenty of people would want a woman president. The better question is, who would want Hillary as the first woman president? But really, it’s not news. She’s not the first woman to run for president or VP or whatever... |

For one thing, it’s vital for the use of singular third person pronouns. 
Anyway it’s not like us Brits can talk, the only female prime minister we had was Margaret Thatcher, and she was basically a man who carried around a handbag. And she was ousted from office by very jealous men who thought she was too powerful.

And it’s true, what others have said. Why does it matter what sex the leader of a country is? Or, for that matter, what the colour of their skin is? Or what their age is? What matters is how they lead the country. |
