THE OTHER ME: The egg. Duh. Otherwise where did the chicken come from?

My bet’s on the egg, the reason being that an embryo inside an egg should have the same DNA as the grown adult. In other words a non-chicken shouldn’t be able to grow into a chicken. And if the grown adult is a chicken, then by definition the egg is a chicken egg, and therefore the egg came first. |

Where’d the egg come from?
Here we see two major worldviews.
1: Evolution. Summed up nicely by Elessar’s Socks. DNA has to be the same with a grown chicken and his egg. Thus, the egg came first, because evolution occurs ONLY at conception of the new generation, nowhere else. Thus, egg.
2: Creation. God created animals, not their eggs. Thus, it would have to be Chicken.
Ever heard the saying that the simplest possible answer is almost always the correct one?
Anyway, I agree option 2. |
