Thank you. I love their new CD! (although it’s spelled Relient K, not ReliantK) Wink

I had 5 minutes will class when I posted that and didn’t check my spelling. Sorry about that.

Their best song is Crayons Can Melt On Us For All I Care. Very Happy

And close behind is Maintain Consciousness from mmhmm.

Our concentration it contains a deadly flaw,
Our conversations change from words to blah, blah, blah.
We took prescription drugs, and look how much good that did.
Well I think I had a point, but I just got distracted.

’Cause lately it just seems to me that we got the letters, A.D.D. branded into our mentality, we simply can’t focus on anything.

Genius. Sheer genius.

But crazy lyrics aside (did I mention "My Girl’s Ex-Boyfriend" or "The Only Thing Worse Than Beating A Dead Horse Is Betting On One"?), their best HAS to be Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been.

Contemporary Christian, namely, Pop/Punk.

More Punk then Pop, though.

They’re even touring with Switchfoot this fall (my 2nd favorite band) but I probably won’t be able to go to any of the concerts. Sad

Actually...I’d say the opposite, that they’re more pop than punk.

AC, it was so aggravating...they were gonna be so close, yet it was in the middle of the school week. So I knew I couldn’t go to the show. I knew some people who went, though.

Switchfoot’s awesome as well. I’m picky about who I listen to, but ReliantK and Switchfoot are high on my list. Along with FF5 and tobyMac, but they’re a completely different genre.

Along the mainstream CCM genre, Disciple has SOME good stuff. Like, every song they make that is NOT metal. But, unfortunately, almost all their stuff is metal. Razz If you can find their song Things Left Unsaid, listen to it. Its awesome.

Skillet is cool as well, but they’re to hard for everyday listening for me.

All in all, it comes down to one band. Relient K. They HAVE to be the best CCM artist in that genre. My 2nd favorite genre.

Okay, so now you know I like hip-hop and punk rock. Anyone know what my personality is yet? Laughing

Actually, my music taste really doesn’t really reflect my personality. Or so I’ve been told. Think

i can’t believe how few people here listen to Caedmon’s and Derek Webb. if you actually take 2 seconds to contemplate the lyrics, they are incredible, and they do some neat stuff with their music too.

of course, they are more folk rock, than anything else...
