Yeah, so I just watched V for Vendetta for the first time, it was an interesting movie. Made me think. Had some truly awesome parts. I loved the one bit with the coroner, that whole scene...how everything unfolded.
Anyone else here seen it? |

Yes I’ve seen it and it’s a very good movie.
But, judging by the title, I thought this thread was going to be about Ron Paul. We should talk about him instead. |

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V. |

Hahaha...ever the stealth campaigner. But viva Paul.
Anyway, on topic...Turin, that was awesome. One of my friends did up a poster of that quote, and memorized it. |

The film is good, but the comic is better. Read the comic! There’s a lot more intrigue, and weird things about Fate.
There are some parts better in the film, for example the dominos work a lot better in the film than the comic, and the dictator in the comic has a silly and unimpressive name, but it’s definitely worth reading.
