Yes, I’ve now seen the first two Pirates movies. I’m watching the third at movie night tomorrow. It will be sweet. And I loved both of the movies. The last scene (not the one after the credits) of the second movie...the very end, that just made me go "WHOAH!", literally. And then the hidden ending on the second movie...that was priceless.

I can’t wait to see the third movie tomorrow.

Oh yeah, and it was funny...towards the start of the whole thing, I ended up holding the swiped hooded sweatshirt of one of my female friends. Kept it through both movies, it was quite entertaining. But now I think that it was a cursed sweatshirt, although I haven’t been in moonlight yet, so I haven’t had a chance to see if I’m right. Wink

My Avatar should explain I have quite the liking for those movies as well.

You’re just now seeing it? It’s gone out of all the theaters around here by now, I think...

Anyays, it’s amazing. Very action-y.

Yeah, I’m just now seeing it. It’s been delayed for far too long. That’s what college is for. Very Happy

It is better than the second but still not as good as the first which will always be the definative Pirates film.

Homage that’s what i’ve heard, and at this point, i wish the first was the only one they made. it is perfect in itself.

What was so bad about #2? Seriously, I loved that movie as well.

there were a LOT of scenes that are long and have the same thing through the whole thing.

Hmm...well, I’ve only seen it once now, so I can’t judge. I don’t really mind long scenes as much.

I loved the 2nd one the first time I saw it. After that, the long repetitive chases involving large rolling objects (be they cages or giant wheels) became a little inane. Still liked it, but not as much.

The 3rd one is awesome, though. Not as much as the first, but still...
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true.
