Okay, here’s one I picked up from the LOTR Plaza, originally invented by a poster named Joly. You don’t know him, most likely, but I should credit him with it.
Anyway...
The way it works is that we start with a list of characters. For the first round, I’ll do LOTR characters. Each one has a certain number of points. Each person who posts must take a point away from a character, and give a point to a character. When a character gets to 0 points, that character is eliminated, and cannot be brought back.
Basically, you try and get the characters you like to survive. At the end, only one will be left.
When you eliminate a character, say so (i.e., something like "ELIMINATED").
Wait for two other posts after yours before you post again.
And have fun!
