I heard about this thing being declassified; I think it was about a year ago.
Pretty crazy. To be honest, assuming it doesn’t cause cancer (but then again, what doesn’t these days?) or something bad like that, this could be a really useful weapon.
No collateral damage, no risk of harm to innocent bystanders (some major discomfort, yes, but no actual harm), and the like.
Of course, people are going to have a fit over it and say it has all sorts of medical hazards (real or imagined-- or more likely both) regardless of whether or not it’s "safe" in reality.
...Or it could mutate people at random and we have an entire army of criminal, terrorist, and innocent-bystander versions of the Incredible Hulk running around....

"soothingly explained"--*LMAO*
Nifty stuff. There was also a similar device being tested awhile ago that directed unbearably loud sound instead. Deaf and roasted, there’s the ticket.
This might backfire as crowd control, though. Here everyone had the luxury to move out of the way quick, but if you’re packed in tight people are liable to get trampled in the ensuing panic. |

Popcorn is not gooey like fat, and also not crunchy like potato chips, but crispy like lettuce which makes it a healthy snack. |
