I’m back in business, filming some ideas that I’ve been rolling around a while.
My next project is going to be major... A 3-way sword fight with some friends of mine. It will take a while to orchestrate, but I’ll keep y’all posted!
Here are those 2 videos. Not great by any means, but I’m always learning something new about this devious artform.

Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

I can’t wait to see some new stuff.
For the car rides, I was just trying to figure out how many "frames" (IE pictures) I should be using for different speeds/rates. I think I’ve got a pretty good idea now.
I know I said above that I will be filming a swordfight next, but I have my eyes on something far grander now. Over this next spring break, I will film a four-way battle royale between some friends of mine.
It will utilize "special powers". Jason will be a super-strength brute, Ben will have super-speed, John will fly, and Matt will be levitating objects around him (making everything into projectiles). I already know how to do most of this stuff; it’s just a matter of making it look good for a prolonged period of time.
That’s what this winter is for... mastering stop motion. In the meanwhile, I’ll be posting my tests as I make them. |

lol, you’re going to laugh at this answer...
I had a 10 second delay on each shot I took, giving me enough time to get myself into position (I had to memorize how I sat and where my hands were on my lap). Before each shot, I would move the shoes a little bit further down the course.
As for how the shoes slipped onto my feet, well, let’s just say it’s easier said than done. |
