Just curious as to who people think will be the National Champs for 2007. Take the poll and leave a post of why you chose the team you chose. I just went with the top 10 in the BCS poll for the choices but feel free to choose outside the poll options. GO MIZZOU! |

In my opinion Ohio State shouldn’t even be ranked 3rd in the country since they had a weak strength of schedule. Here is there schedule a bunch of nobodies:
Youngstown State (won big deal lower devision team)
Akron (won, same as Younstown)
Washington (waste of a team)
Northwestern (waste of a team)
Minnesota (not to good)
Purdue (blah)
Kent State (waste of a team)
Michigan State (decent at best)
Penn State (decent)
Wisconsin (decent should have never been ranked either)
Illinois (Decent this year anyway)
Michigan (come on the lost to Appalanchian State at the start of the year)
How can you have that schedule and not go undefeated. That has got to be the weakest schedule of the ’07 season and yet that manage to lose a game to Illinois. They don’t deserve to be #3 let alone the national champions. Even if Mizzou loses to Oklahoma and it comes down to WV vs OSU I believe we will have a Big East Champion for the first time since the Hurricanes back in 2001. GO TIGERS if not West Virginia is the ’Golden Team’ this year |

um ohio state lost to Illinois
never mind
anyways this has been one of the strangest years in collage football...
and ohio state should have won their game, but there was a questionable call with just over 2 minutes remaining that allowed Illinois to beat them |

My bad L3333, not a huge OSU fan. I actually had to look their schedule up online and I thought I saw the L next to the Wisconsin game. None the less they should be undefeated. I guess we will see how it all falls into place tonight when Mizzou plays Oklahoma. GO TIGERS! I will make the correction by the way.
-EDIT- Look at that #1 and #2 both fall again , what an unbelieveable season it has been. Looks Like the Buckeyes are going to be in the National Championship game . It should be interesting to see who they will face since Georgia is #4 and they didn’t even win their Conference. LSU would have a legit arguement if they decide to put Georgia in the big game since they were the winners of the SEC and beat Georgia. Kansas perhaps since they only had 1 loss but doubt that would happen, and poor Hawaii is the only undefeated team left and they wouldn’t get the chance since they are in a non-BCS conference. Anyway should be interesting to see who plays OSU. I will pull for who ever it is . |
