Depends on what you mean by "defined." Believe it or not, mathematicians actually have set definitions for "ambiguous," "ill defined," "well defined," and probably "really, really well defined!" Okay I was joking on the last one... I think.
∞ is not defined as a number, but it can belong to a set. For example, the set of affinely extended real numbers.

Sounds like quantum mechanics to me. It’s said that those who say they understand it do not truly understand it.
The serious answer is... we’re just having fun. |

| Socrates...and not the brasilian footballplayer! I think it means that when you know a lot, you come to the conclusion there is way more that you don’t know. So you should be humble when it comes to knowledge, for we know so little!..Am I right FM?, I mean if you studied him? |

Yep, pretty much it.
That, and to kick REAL hard when shooting a free kick, both important lessons. |

this "football" you speak of, what is it? Is it not soccer?
We only have this great game called "Football" over here...but it is played with hands mostly.
No it would not be soccer. It would be football. Its the game that was invented BC whereas youre talking about a daft game that americans decided to call football even though they handle the ball which was created in the last few hundred years and is based on an english game known as rugby.
Youre all just strange knicking our sports and naming them wrongly! |

So, being clever yanks, we stole your boring games, made them interesting, and gave them cool names.
Rugby? Boring?
I don’t even like sports, but rugby is anything but "boring".... |
