I have a wonderful and yet mildly terrifying announcement to make: I am going to be a father. Shocked

That’s right...my wife is six and a half weeks pregnant. Very Happy

We announced it to family and friends this weekend (which is the big reason I wasn’t around here, like, at ALL) and will be spreading the news around more this week.

A word of caution, though: my wife’s family has a little history of miscarriages on their first pregnancy...and this is our first. The risk is much less now (which is why I’ve waited to announce even though we found nearly three weeks ago), but it’s still there. Just pray for our little (VERY little) one, because in another few weeks, we’ll be at least 99% safe. These next few weeks are critical.

And no...no morning sickness for her (at least not yet). She is becoming a little more...ah...moody, though. Pray for her if you can, too...and for me. Rolling Eyes

So...uh...YAY! Mr. Green
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

hey congrats!

I am sure you’ll make a great father, and will be praying for your very little ones safety.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Congrats on the little one! Looks like little Thorin III Stonehelm’s birthday will fall around the same time as my own.

I will keep the three of you in my prayers!

Thanks, everyone. Not sure if my wife will go for "Thorin", but we’ll see. Laughing

Congratulations!

will pray for you guys. Thumbs Up

...and if your wife doesn’t like "Thorin," you could always try something like "Sindri" or "Linnar" Laughing
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true.
