c-work:

Run Boromir, Steward's Heir. Why not? You know that if you are playing against me on GCCG, you are more than welcome to use him.

Here are my thoughts.

First of all, you get on everyone's case for not starting Mablung, Soldier of Gondor...then you don't start him yourself! What is that all about?!

I appreciate your thought of using Faramir, Ithilien Ranger, but I think I would rather put a Banner of Westernesse on Faramir, Captain of Gondor. Or in a Smeagol Ring-Bearer deck, I think Faramir, Son of Denethor would really help you. But then you could not start him with Sam.

Consider Light Shining Faintly for healing Sam, Son of Hamfast. Add a burden, heal twice. Granted, it is only a net gain of -1 burden, but it costs (0) as opposed to Hobbit Appetite.

I think I'd like to see Banner of Westernesse in this deck at least once (to peel some wounds off Mablung).
