Ferny's effect wouldn't be all that good as I play one person who uses a ranger deck and he uses Ancient Roads which is what I was thinking about.

Bill Ferny, Swarthy Sneering Fellow is one of the best cards in the game. Consider playing against alternate Ring-Bearers. Whether or not someone assigns his Isildur or Boromir or Gimli to a skirmish, you can. That's wounds or burdens or threats.
