Re: Best Card Lore

Balglin, Elven Warrior: He is a strong fighter. He asks for no quarter and gives none.

You know, most of the Towers Block elves were hilarious. Seeing as they were all made-up, they got some classic lore such as:

At close range, Erethón's accuracy is uncanny.

Thandronen's sons patrol the borders of Lórien together.

The Uruks at Helm's Deep fell to his blade as easily as Goblins from the mountains.

Long, curved Elven steel cut down Uruks already weakened by Elven arrows.

Ordulus always has an arrow nocked and a full quiver too.

Pengedhel can wield an arrow like a short spear.

The twin sons of Thandronen marched with their father to defend Helm's Deep.

Elves of Lórien hone their knife-work fighting Goblin raiders.

Taurnil's careful aim can disarm his enemies at long range.

Now only the bow and the sword can forestall the coming of the Shadow.

I would read most of these and think, "Oh. Well, that's good to know."
