Re: Collector's Card List

Sets 15, 17, and 18 were largely under-produced and thus have the most value.

Most valuable foil cards from Movie Block were discussed here. As a guide, Movie Block is cards from sets 1-10. The foil versions are obviously worth more than their non-foil counterparts; however, as I'm sure you suspect, the non-foil versions of the rares discussed on the page are among the most "valuable" in terms of play and monetary value.

You can check out websites such as CCG Obsession, CCG Singles, or Category One Games to get a general idea of how much people are selling cards for at store value.

I personally am known for under-valuing cards...I often find that card values should only be based on personal need or want and do not take into account market values as much so I am often willing to pay above market values in trade for cards I am looking for (very limited list, available in signature). But looking at your previous post regarding cards you had available, I would think you would be lucky to get $10 USD for the whole lot.

Vision From Afar is the gem of that lot as an upper-mid level rare. What Did You Discover? is a nice foil if someone is building a [Isengard] trackers deck. Any premium ("P") card associated with a set that is not zero ("0") is generally not valued very highly as they are available in starter decks from that respective set. On the other hand, 0P cards are promotional cards--some of these have higher values. Again, as an example:
1P364 <--Notice the "1" denoting it is from set 1, Fellowship of the Ring. In this case, "P" stands for "premium."
0P17 <-- The zero denotes that this is a promotional card. So "p" stands for "promo."

Hope some of this information helped.
