PS - $250?!?!? No way dude, it's gotta be way more than that. The whole set is FOILED. Singular cards from this set FOILED go for $20 or more. The Ring alone is probably worth $50.
It's the worst of the rare Rings and there has been one sitting on eBay at $50 for several months now.
I actually think that Wikkie's offer of $250 is more than fair; I don't see you getting much more than that for the set.
You have to consider that the large bulk of the set would be worth $.25-$.50 cents/card (the commons and uncommons, excluding
Sam, Son of Hamfast and a few key others) and that the best card in the set (
Goblin Armory) has had two foil copies sitting on eBay for $30 and $40, respectively, for at least three months. I know because I've been "watching" them to see if they come down on the price at all towards the more reasonable $15 which I bought my other two at.
So if you take the top 20 cards in the set and say, even, $12.50 each, then you are at your $250. Despite the fact that it is a complete set, you are going to receive less than full value per card because of "lot selling," which is the theory that you get more for single items than you do for a group of items.
Good luck with your sale though. If you want to sell me the few cards I need from that set, I'd gladly overpay for them...but it would break up your set...
