I understand his intentions, but why is lotrtcgwiki.com/forums not a good base of operations? The site may not be flashy but it is simple and easy to navigate. Furthermore, it already has all of the sections, save one, which can easily be added. If you don't like the picture of Rivendell at the top of the page, well then, find a better picture of Rivendell. But the Last Homely Home was Rivendell, so I don't know what else you would be looking for.

This website is not very expensive to maintain, save time, which Kralik has graciously donated! There are many happy members here who are content with where the game is and are actively looking to bring more players into the game, whether introducing people to GCCG or bringing physical cards to conventions and card stores to teach new players.

I guess I am content where the game is today. I like the community here and I am more than appreciative of this website as it stands.

Some of the ideas brought up here are nice in theory, but do you all realize the cost of printing and producing a magazine, particularly one for an international community? An "e-zine" makes more sense, but that is essentially a website. With questions and answers and deck ideas...which is what this is.

I really want to reiterate that I am not trying to stomp all over your ideas, but I just want everyone to realize the costs, hurdles, and implications of what they are trying to do.
