Not sure if we can do that at the moment though. We've got Ranofer, Chompers and Sete, plus 2 other members who voted yes, and me. So we've got 6. Our numbers are too few to take on too many things at the same time.
Hey Meriadoc, you posted the poll today. Give it a little more time than 10 hours.

Wouldn't it be fun it newcomers felt like the game was released a month ago? Or a year ago?

Sign up for GCCG. Play a few games there. Learn the rules and the differences between Movie Block and Standard (and the various other playing formats in between) and I think you will have a better idea of what I am trying to say.

That's not what the new cards would ever be about.  Galadriel, Lady Redeemed, for example.  Decipher released the card, why do you think people shouldn't play it?  Perhaps you think it's broken in some way?
It is not just me that thinks that particular Galadriel is overpowered. Let me go through some of the history of the beginning of the end of LotR TCG for you.

Decipher originally planned on making 9 sets, which are sets 1-8 and 10. Of course, it is never easy to end something that is making so much money so they decided to expand their projected sets some time around the Battle of Helm's Deep set to I think a total of 15 sets. They added Reflections which pushed their original set 9 back to 10...anyways...

So Decipher began to go through money troubles. As it turned out, long time employee and friend of company owner Rick Eddlemen embezzled so much money that he put the company near bankruptcy. You can read the details here: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,3357.0.html

Either way, due to the loss of money, Decipher (understandably) had to cut their staff by over 80%. So playtesting on the cards went down and rushed production to make back money that was stolen ostracized a lot of fans. You can see with sets 11 and on, the Shadows were realigned into [Men], [Orc], [Uruk], and [Wraith] which really took away from a lot of the flavor of the game.

Furthermore, the new sitepath allowed the game to progress with no care whatsoever. For instance, you could start the game at Helm's Deep, go to Mount Doom, and end the game at the Prancing Pony! That completely took away from the whole journey.

I'd post more but I lost my train of thought because I am playing a game online as we speak.
