OK got wrapped up with the rules's example of Faramir so yea you are correct with the word prevention, and correct on "Cannot" so even tho you pointed those things out I guess I am still not seeing my overall question answered. Because a Gondor Wraith cannot take (apply) those wounds either in archery, or losing a skirmish does that protect him from dying/being killed (as crazy as that sounds with Wraiths) leaving the game to the dead pile?
