Well, most of us ARE just mods because we modded over at CC. That said, we DO have tons of mods already.

I can step down as a mod if we want AP back. As far as being a mod, I don't really accomplish much aside from "peacekeeping in the ranks," which I could mostly do as just a normal member, anyway.... I mean, not that I'm begging for my mod status to be taken away, but if people do want AP as a mod, but are concerned about the # of mods, that's an option.

I don't think anyone needs to step down, and I think we have too many mods as it is. Also, asking explicitly to be a moderator is a little cheeky isn't it?

I'm not sure where I stand. For one, he did a decent job modding on CC. But...I don't really like the asking to be a mod, plus, too many cooks spoil the broth. Its hard to be consistent with numerous mods with various moderation styles.

So yeah. Indecision. End participation in thread.

I say watch him for a few weeks, if he deserves it grant it. Mayhaps start him out as a trading mod or something?
and is there anyway I can be moved from mod of bag end to mod of CoM or HoTB>

Blast it all! I TRIED to make him a mod when he first showed up here, and he declined, so I moved on to others instead. Now...argh. Why couldn't he have just accepted then?

I'd love to have him as a moderator, but I also think we have enough already. I'll put him at the top of the waiting list...if another mod steps down at some point or moves on or whatever, AP is in. Until then, though, I think he missed his chance for now. Too bad.

LOVE to have him back and active, though. I think his ridiculous post count and long standing in the community will give him plenty of leadership power whether he's a mod or not.

Hey, I'm like, never in the trading section anymore, so I wouldn't have a problem stepping down for him. In fact, I'd prefer it. Give him power to moderate the trading section and call it good.

Well, sure, I could do some shuffling to squeeze him in for a forum or two, but I think most folks don't think it's the fact that every forum has a mod or two is the problem, but that there are so many different individuals acting as mods already. 9 + the 2 universal mods is a lot already.

I'll consider it, though. I might change my mind on bib, since he's hardly been active. Yes, he's deserving for his contributions at CC alone, but if he's never around, then what's the point? That would open up a spot....
