Writer's Block
« on: February 02, 2009, 08:46:50 pm »
Anyone ever gotten it before? I'm going through a MAJOR case of it right now (and have been for close to two weeks now) with DCs, RPGing, work documents...everything. I hate when this happens.... ](*,)

Oh, and I've been a bit restless, too. I just can't fall asleep when I need to. Maybe my brain is finally melting down...? @-/

Hey, just calm down.

Do something complete different.
° Go to the cinema
° Go to restaurant with your wife
° Read a thrilling book

And if this does not help, here is the hardcore one:
Think about, how to play Frenzy of Arrows!

Writers Block sounds awesome! Shadow cards could modify Free Peoples text... Shadow kill when the Ring-bearer is modified to kill himself. :-k

And Dáin has "a MAJOR case of it"... this could be huge!

Open the case, Dáin! I'll get the crowbar!

Yeah i've gone through it several times over the past couple years. You see, i've been coming up with stories for the past 5-10 years no problem. It's writing it out in story form that's the trouble. I start out wonderfully but after a while I can't think of how to continue.

What i do is put it down and leave it alone for an hour, a day, a week, a month, however long it takes for me to get back into the groove of it. Try not to stress over it, that only makes it worse.

Only one can know of it

We have not power in Use

But only wait for it to change
Inside the soul of it we lay

i'll check the local hobby shop to see if they have any sets from Writer's Block, but in the meantime, maybe dain will distribute some from "The Case"

the case of power

One Case to rule them all, one Case to find them, one Case to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them!

So now it's not in a case, but in a dark binder? Intriguing...

You have to keep it in the dark because the sheer brilliance of the cards from Writer's Block would blind you if you saw them.

Every so often, if you're lucky, you might get a NON-FOIL version of a card that you can actually use in a game without destroying your retinas. THOSE are the valuable ones!
