I sent the following message to said member:
"I'm sorry, but I didn't offend you in any way, and I won't have users talking like that to me, or discrediting the "work" I do FOR FREE in order to let everyone have a nice Community with comments like the ones you made. I'm one of the most rational people on the site, which is why I pointed out BOTH errors and not just one of them, and my PS was only me doing what I'm supposed to, which is enforcing the Forum's rules. I don't care how keen you are to evoke your freedom of speech, this is a PRIVATE site, and as so, it has rules, that must, and will be enforced whenever it's necessary. If you're not happy with this, feel free to leave, although being an active member, I'd rather you didn't.
If you have a quarrel with me, you bring it up to me and we can talk it out, no worries, but comments of that sort to any member of the staff doing their "job" won't be tolerated anymore, so consider this strike one, by Kralik's rules, or a "caution", to use technical terms.
That being said, I'm asking you, please try to be more polite in your posts, it's not like you were called "cheater" or anything (I even deleted a post by another user that said that, btw), so don't crack back the way you did.
The PS part is not related to the topic, which is why it's separated from the post. Also, I'm not trying to scare you or anything, and LEAST OF ALL having "power" going to my head, you don't know anything about me, and if you knew, you'd know I'm not susceptible to this kind of thing at all, and that the "power" I have as a moderator here means to me, it's no reason for awe. As I said in my post (which, granted, since this IS the internet, we can't actually know HOW a person meant a certain comment to sound, which could lead you to think I threatened you or something), I accepted my position in order to "work" FOR the site, and thus, for its members, and since I gave Kralik my word I'd do a good job, I try to. That's what I meant, basically.
I don't want to have a quarrel, nor have you as an enemy or anything like this, so I hope we can drop this behind us, and even play on GCCG sometime, but as I said, I STILL had to give you the "caution" note, as part of what I'm supposed to do here, as well as give you the heads-up I gave in the topic, which is how Kralik asked we conduct things 'round here.
