Aragorn, Bearer of Temptation and two hunters (Hobbits, Arwen, added!)

Why is she hunter? Why not ranger? I love this Arwen!

I guess the theme was hunter. Plus, cards like A Ranger's Versatility or others that take advantage of being a ranger would fit in too easily.

While Aragorn is the ring-bearer, at the start of each skirmish involving Aragorn, add one burden for each of the following companions you cannot spot: Gimli, Legolas, Merry, Pippin.

Tis interesting, but I'm not convinced. Once you stop those companions, this guy is one of the best RBs out there.

While you can spot Legolas, Aragorn is resistance +1.
Skirmish: Exert Gimli to make a companion with resistance 5 or more Hunter 2.

I find the first line rather strange. Having on A spotting B to give a bonus to C seems a bit too convoluted for my tastes.

Skirmish: Exert Legolas to make a minion lose Hunter until the regroup phase.

While you can spot Pippin, Aragorn is Resistance +1 and Pippin is strength +1.
Skirmish: If Merry is not assigned to a skirmish, discard him to make a minion lose Fierce until the regroup phase.

Strength 3, Vitality 4, Resistance 7
While you can spot Merry, Aragorn is Resistance +1 and Merry is strength +1.
Skirmish: If Pippin is not assigned to a skirmish, discard him to make a minion lose Damage bonuses until the regroup phase.

Again... And certainly this fellowship is left with the best RB in the game... They're skirmish texts are very nice though.

Strength 6, Vitality 3, Resistance 7
Hunter 1
While Arwen is not exhausted, the Ring-Bearer is Resistance +2.
Response: While Aragorn is the Ring-Bearer, if Arwen is killed add 3 burdens.

Very swish. Don't love the hunter, and it shouldn't be a response action because then it's optional! Should rephrase: "If Arwen is killed and Aragorn is the Ring-bearer, add 3 burdens." This is my favourite of all these companions.

Thranduil, what if I remove Hunter 1 from Aragorn's game text? I mean, it blows the "Three Hunters" idea, but that' okay...

I think that Aragorn at Resistance 4 is quite reasonable. I thought at first about having it "Each time the fellowship moves" adding the burdens, but I am not sure about that yet.

If you kill Legolas or Gimli, the first line of their game texts doesn't work. I think I like that.

4 copies of Merry and Pippen each in the deck seems reasonable and Arwen is just another character that may help. I will remove the response!
