Trade List Poll

Please vote. I have my list posted here, but I find it sloppy and obnoxious...so I wanted to poll the class.

How would you prefer my list be posted? Card after card here? Or a nice, simple link to mahasamatman.com?

Full lists on TLHH are much better in my opinion.  Honestly, if you're too lazy to post your list on here, then stay on Maha.

I don't think it is a question of laziness. I think that the simplicity of mahasamatman and standardized listings are what makes that site appealing. Here, people post lists based on set, culture, rarity, etc., which is something that can make it harder to sort and find cards.

Here, however, you can note cards (such as "lightly played," etc.) which is nice too. You can also specify if you only want to move it for a particular item, which I take advantage of as well.

Personally, I have a link and I have my list to cater to both crowds. I was just curious as to what everyone preferred.

IMO - everyone should look at my haves list and thats the way it should be posted.

Nice ordered and easy to find what your after. Id be a happy man if people could be so organised.

Chattel! Peasants! Serfs! The hoi polloi of the TLHH hear this! By the decree of Lord AMFSOOK, all Trade Lists shall be constructed under the guidelines of "My Haves" and "My Wants," viewed exclusively in the signature of your Ruler! Your haves lists shall be organized by number! Divided by set! And your Wanted lists shall be viewed the same!

Any commoner who does not abide by these rules shall be banished from the land! So say-eth AMFSOOK!

Well if you can come up with a simpler way that allows everyone to understand the list let me know.

Im a collector not a player - so simply posting the cards name means nothing to me. Give me a number and i know if i got it or i dont.

Players are the other way. Name the card they know it, give them a number and they have to look it up.
So i simply put in both and its organised in collections so people can browse easily for exactly what they are after.

Of course:
Profile --> Look and Layout Preferences --> Image Preview on [card] tags --> Switch OFF to, well whatever you prefer (I go with medium).

I like it here mostly, but I don't like when the board gets cluttered up when people post their trade lists on multiple threads.

Most of the people here also have mahasamatman lists. It is not a message board. It is just a place to post lists and then e-mail other list-owners at your leisure.
