You are right, absolutley pointless.. Besides them the movie is great.

(Morph gets killed by Sentinels).

Morph doesn't get killed, only captured.. He comes back later under the mind control of Mr. Sinister.

The original TMNT series is leaps and bounds above any of the new turtles crap they have made. Same goes for the original three movies.

When the show was written, Morph gets killed. By season 3 (I think) when they re-introduce the character, they created the story that he was captured.

So what is deal with Beast then? Are you saying when they wrote the show he was supposed to be killed too? Because he is captured at the same time as Morph. But it's hard to believe that one of the main characters (Beast) was supposed to be killed in the first season.

Morph was shot. Beast was captured. Morph was an X-Man created as a "stock character" for the show to add emotional depth. Beast was one of the original X-Men. Re-watch the episode and you'll see Beast is clearly in jail and Morph is dead (until he magically re-appears.)

Just watched it. You are right, they don't even show how Beast gets captured, one second he is running with them, the next time you see him he is saying a prayer in a cell.

Can't believe I never noticed that. I always just thought Beast got nailed with Morph.

Nah. Morph eats it and they assume Beast does to and it really makes the show deep for a children's animated series.

Wolverine was a badass before I knew what a badass was and Cyclops was a tragic hero...

Great show. I'd love to re-write the series for adults and my brother could animate it. I would find someone who spoke French to play Remy (Gambit) and a Chinese American for Jubilee (if I even included her...I really like Shadowcat a lot better than Jubilee).
