Let's start a new Movie Block tournament. 1 week per round. If you don't play, you are out.

Countdown to the King. Participants can post site ideas here:

Site 1: Bag End
Site 2: Weathertop
Site 3: Rivendell (SANCTUARY)
Site 4: Amon Hen
Site 5: Helm's Deep
Site 6: Edoras Hall (SANCTUARY)
Site 7: Pelennor Plains
Site 8: Gorgoroth Plain
Site 9: Mount Doom

I think we can agree on some cool game texts for these!

Edoras Hall too. I could not remember the sitepath for the real Countdown to the King but did my best trying to remember something similar. I just remember that Helm's Deep was site 5.

Of course, site three would still fit as a sanctuary as Lothlorien. And site 4 could just as easily be Anduin or Emyn Muil or even the Westfold.

Big places like Moria, Fangorn, and Osigilath are unfortunately missing...

If I'm not mistaken, they don't return to Edoras until ROTK.

perhaps I'm missing what you're trying to accomplish.  Is this a site path designed to take you through the 3 movies in 9 sites?  That's a neat idea.  Is there a way to divide it up by region?  Region one is fellowship, region 2 is TT, and region 3 is ROTK?

I just remembered that site 8 was Shelob's Lair.

Okay, let's make site 4 Fangorn Forest and 6 could even be Isengard Reclaimed...but I like it as Edoras Hall.

The more important thing is game texts! That year I placed third in the tournament going into the CttK tourney, so I got third pick for the gametext of any site I wanted to. I can't remember exactly what I picked, but it probably kick-#$&*@!!
