I am sorry you feel the way you do.

Fair enough my poll was a little one-sided but it was certainly not a personel attack on you. I have spent a lot of time reading your views and in some cases i agree with what you have to say. I have enjoyed the games we played on GCCG.

I certainly agree with you that we a lot of generals with our heads cut off (and this is something i have tried to address) - that what happens when trying to mobilise a group of people across continents. Will we ever be successful - i hope so, maybe not as this has been going on for a long time without success.

Why no success when Star Trek (I am so jealous) has? I think it is because Star Trek is a bigger license and has a more rabid fan-base. LOTR just hasn't got it and that for me and some others is a shame. Personally i like LOTR better than Star Trek as a game but given the choice will play Trek over LOTR as it has an effective PC.

Remember, LOTR is bigger than you and me. There are people out there that see things differently and would like LOTR to continue with a healthy and growing future - it has been done before and can be done with LOTR. A PC or talk of it does not effect you if you don't want to participate. We even moved the discussion away from Bag End at your request.

This is not a dig at you - but i am not going to lock this post - feel free to say whatever you want - along with anyone else. Try and keep it nice. BTW - I will still happily play you on GCCG at the end of the day ;)

Just a suggestion...

You guys should stop posting open letters, just talk in PM instead.... These issues don't have to be public.

You don't need to apologize for my feelings, especially since they are masked by a series of wires and microchips. I don't feel anything regarding a PC. The PC has neither my blessing nor curse. I just saw something the group was doing and offering my own take on the plan.

I am having a hard time responding to this post, as it is something written to me. I am trying to be both gracious and diplomatic. I would be happy to address anything you wish via private message out of respect for the rest of the community. That is an open invitation.

No, I feel airing grievances, and talking civily is good. If you want to hate mail each other and have a rabid debate, then yes, PM would be better.

We just remember that it is nothing personal. We are still a community, and we still help each other, even when we criticize each other. That's the whole deck forum, for goodness sake!

No one, just responding to the "PM each other instead of talk here" thing. Saying if that was the line this was going to take, PM. But I had faith otherwise, so I said you should talk here.
