I'd say for what it costs to buy SoG boosters/starters, you would be better off bidding on complete foil sets (wildthings games on ebay).. The foil sets usually go for about $30-$60.

I don't think you will get enough Corsair cards from either box to for an ownage deck.

There are a few ways to play corsairs, 4x Castamir of Umbar probably will be used in 99% of corsair decks as will 4x Corsair Maurauder.
