Nintendo DS
« on: May 23, 2010, 05:40:48 pm »
So about every June or so, I seem to get this major hankering to play Pokemon. Don't ask me why, but it happens without fail at the beginning of every summer.

I don't play much or for long, but last summer, I got Pokemon Platinum and a Nintendo DS last summer. Anyways, does anyone play? PM me for my friend code. I'd really like to trade for some of the original 150 Pokemon because that's the kind of stuff I remember--particularly, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. I could trade all three starters from Pokemon Platinum for them, respectively.

I don't really have any other games or play, but I do get on Mario Kart DS sometimes.

You go to the basement of the place where you heal Pokemon and there is an NPC that gives it to you. You have to set your DS up for Wi-Fi first, of course.

Just get the WEP code of your wireless internet at your household. Or if you don't have wireless at home, go to your local Starbucks.

Well, my rationale is, first of all, why would someone want to get a system with admittedly worse graphics and processors?

Secondly, I don't understand the motion sensor thing. When I want to go play baseball, I'll go outside and play baseball. When I want to play video game baseball, I don't want to move. I want a beer on the side table and to be in a recliner not moving.

Thirdly, I don't think Nintendo compares to XBox or Playstation in games. Granted, I've never owned a Playstation, but I think both have far better game support.

But who knows? To each, his or her own. I hardly play video games anyways.

Don't take this personally ket but um.... WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING!!!!!

I will agree that the wii's motion sensor is dumb. But, have you forgoten that Nientendo holds a monopoly on the two best game series ever made(Super smash bros and Mario Kart.)

Most importantly an the wii you can play many game with four different kind of controls. AND you can download some of the best games from the N64, SNES, NES Sega and three other systems.

You name me one other system that can play 9 differnt game systems games on it, and can plug a keyboard and mouse into the back to use for the internet channel!
