Word Play

Recently I used a card Crack into Rubble and was wondering
could i have used it to discard a shadow condition With out spoting a site to liberate similar to  using Shoulder to shoulder to add 1 with out healing an elf or dwarf to key off gandalfs twilight pool tick

I think the answer is yes. This topic should be moved to the Archives of Minas Tirith section.
