Footman's Armor and Fishing Boat can both be used as many times as required providing the costs are met. You must be about to die due to overwhelm (no more skirmish actions/events can be used/played) and be able to discard the cards from hand/fortifications (footman's armor) or remove the tokens (fishing boat).

Tbiesty, this and few other 'Unofficial Rulebook Discussion' questions have not needed clarification imo.

Maybe instead of cluttering the new rulebook unnecessarily, you could just ask a question in the archives yourself if unsure of something? Just a thought.

As I see it, the reason Fishing Boat can be used repeatedly is because the "about to be overwhelmed" situation is being rechecked each time. When this recheck is performed, the "about to be overwhelmed" situation happens again, and the Boat is triggered again.

In contrast, we can't use something like Sudden Fury repeatedly because the "loses a skirmish" situation isn't being rechecked each time. Therefore, Sudden Fury doesn't trigger again.

Yeah, I feel Footman's Armor and Fishing Boat have different wordings for an identical trigger.

Yep, I've been trying to add as little as possible; the goal being to clarify only when there is something missing that really should be spelled out; and keep it short and to the point. There's been several issues that have ended up that I haven't needed to add anything.

I'm creating these topics in this CRD Discussion forum so it's easier for me to keep track of things.  We're about half way through the list of issues and the amount of "stuff added" has been pretty minimal so far; which is good.

Once we get through the list, I welcome players to "review and proofread" the document to make sure everything that was added is clear and to the point.

Thanks!

I should add that, overwhelming and the default wound being required actions might be up for debate as well. Personally I agree, but I think some would argue these are steps.

Option 1 it is.  After we've finished these other discussions, I'll eventually work with Elessar's Socks to clarify the "Skirmish Phase" section of the "Unofficial Rulebook" so it is clear when each of these responses to the various things that take place during a skirmish take place.  Once that is done, I'll open another discussion so everyone can give their input on the wording of that section.  Thanks!

Just making sure Discussion #15 and Discussion #14 show up in the right order.
