Watchers of Cirith Ungol
Dagorlad

Notes:
Gorgoroth Assassin knocked out Merry, Horticulturalist in two games. I decided I needed to get a more powerful Merry in there, so I went with Noble Warrior. Of course, that meant that I needed a [2] [Rohan] companion. I toyed around with starting Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien, but I didn't like that I couldn't play Simbelmyne from my opening hand. I tried Eoywn, Daughter of Eomund, but Lady of Ithilien is just a better card. So we find ourselves with good old Grimbold.

Of course, you may notice two cuts--Power According to His Stature and Lurtz, Servant of Isengard. That may not seem like a big deal in the scheme of things, but when you acquire those cards in foil form (and trade or pay a lot for them), it's a pain in your #$&*@! to pull them out of the deck.

Regardless, here we are. There are 10 companions. Sam, Son of Hamfast can be played only if he absolutely needs to be played, and Rohirrim Army is obviously discarded and played upon Theoden, Tall and Proud's demise. Avenge your king, motherfuckers.
