Your ring-bearer is Boromir.

Yes.  Is there a problem with that?  It's not really common for the ring-bearer to be assigned.  Most of the guys I play with have tank decks so...

K... for companions here's another idea

Frodo, Tired Traveller AtAR
Aragorn, Thorongil (start)

1x Faramir, Captain of Gondor
1x Mablung, Soldier of Gondor
3x Ranger of Ithilien
1x Boromir, Stewards Heir
4x Ancient Roads
4x Gondorian Blade
2x Sword of Gondor
1x Anduril, Sword That was Broken
2x Faramir's Cloak
3x Swordsman of the Northern Kingdom
3x War and Valor
3x Concealment
4x No Stranger to the Shadows
1x Faramir's Bow
1x Aragorn's Bow

The Prancing Pony
Helm's Gate
Moria Stairway
Neekerbreekers' Bog
Trollshaw Forest
Window on the West
Caves of Aglarond
Fords of Isen
Mithlond

All that matters here is to use Frodo's effect to play all the companions from the draw deck without adding any burdens.  One of two things happens.  I do it site 1\2.  Either one it's unlikely for anyone to be able to play much at that site.  Bid 2 burdens then move to Caves of Aglarond during the regroup phase.  Also just rush through the game trying to reach site 9.

Starting just one companion is usually a big no no. 3 minions and you are in real trouble.

I understand that but the strategy here is to put down the Prancing Pony as 1st or 2nd site.  With that in place I can play the rest of my fellowship from draw deck and using Frodo's effect can cancel out any burdens I would normally get.

K... again Prince of Ithilien isn't a ranger.  Nor is he ring0bound which is what I'm going for.

So start Faramir and Mablung, then pull Thorongil. The Prancing Pony only lets you pull one ranger.

Nstts is R listed in expanded. Also if you play a companion with prancing pony, you can't remove a burden with Frodo's text...

Grant but most of my cards don't fit into the fellowship block.
