Experimenting with Ads

I've eliminated ads from the forums and database for members. We'll try it and see how it works. You'll find now that the database shows two ads per page if you are not logged in, and gives a login box and some links to the forum for guests. I'll probably code in some promotional stuff on the forum itself for guests as well (e.g. "Welcome, guest! Register and you'll have the following benefits...").

for me, as long as the ads were on the bottom of the page that would be all right, like under the quick reply box, cause I never look down there and from what I understand, it counts as a hit when we open the page no?

Yes and no. Just loading the page is practically worthless. Something like 1 penny per thousand loads. Anyway, if you see any ads in the interface that I missed, just let me know.
