Perhaps it would be better to consider whether she could stay with errata. I could see her as being somewhat feasible if the cost was increased to... maybe... two exerts. Shadow Between (for example) makes one exert not enough.
I could go with that. Personally, I'd rather see "broken" cards fixed with errata, rather than just banned and ignored.

LR, adding two exerts to the cost is what I find to be a reasonable answer. Give it a go. Trying it is the only way that everyone can know whether it solves the issue or not.
