Free Peoples Ideas to Go with Shadow...

Okay, so I have a foiled Shadow side that has been out of commission for a while. It is fun to play but is prone to hand-clogging.

Anyways, I am taking ideas for a relatively easy-to-foil Free Peoples Side to pair with it. Anyone who is so inclined can make an offer on the Shadow deck via Private Message; I might prefer that as I wouldn't waste money on more cards.

Looking back on the Shadow now, there are improvements that could be made here as well...I would be open to hearing those too.

Maybe Pipeweed. Somewhat along the lines of what MuadDib was selling recently. It has good cycling (Gandalf, The Grey Pilgrim and the Pipeweeds) so it can help that clogging you mentioned.

As far Shadow goes, you could add a corsair or two. Corsair Plunderer and Corsair Buccaneer could help you a lot getting 3 tokens on Harsh Tongues. You just need to add 1 token in regroup via Harsh Tongues and then use corsairs to add 2 more. Not to mention that you can use Corsair Plunderer for cycling.

Corsair Plunderer is genius. I just don't know that I want to fall into using Corsairs.

I had considered purchasing MuadDib's deck a while ago...it would make life easier though to just have a finished foil deck...

Sorry to bring misery to your thread, but I have recently split from my long-time partner and as a result have moved out and left just about everything at home with her... Including all my cards. I'm making a trip back tomorrow to grab a few things and once I have re-organised the cards I'll sell you all my foils for ridiculously cheap if you want them.

Well, it's not like you'd be using Corsair Marauder, Castamir of Umbar or Corsair Ships and those cards are what makes Corsairs OP.

I was trying to avoid the whole Corsair conceit; this deck is rather large at 36 cards anyways.

Corsair Plunderer in theory would fit the deck much better than Southron Bandit; maybe cutting out a Southron Chieftain for another Desert Scout if I expect I will be getting initiative so easily (plus that is one fewer "To play, spot a " card in the deck...
