It's the standard in gaming that if you quit or have a connection issue, you lose, whether it's MT:G on PC,
CoD on 360, or anything else I've ever played (except Gemp). Does it stink if you have a connection issue? Maybe, but it's understood. It's definitely nowhere near as bad as someone intentionally screwing you over, and them being helped by the system to do it. It's unfortunate that people can't just play nice, but they don't.
I have accidentally left rooms on Gemp, so I get it. It'd be nice to have a prompt with "Are you sure you want to quit?" or give someone 60 seconds to return to the room. ...And if they're sitting too long without playing (that's what they'd do next), they lose too. No bannings necessary, no need for explanations. Good, friendly folks still have a good experience.
That's my opinion anyway.
