I would much like to see this deck at 35/35 (due to the Rule of Four and lack of cycling outside of Fellowship phase, you don't really need to go higher).

Let's just say your companions were:
A Ring-Bearer of your Choice and a Ring of your Choice
Gimli, Opinionated Guide
Linnar, Dwarven Lord

Durin III, Dwarven Lord x3
Sindri, Dwarven Lord x2
Thrarin, Smith of Erebor x2
Dain Ironfoot
Aragorn, Ranger of the North
Sam, Son of Hamfast

Preparations x3
Here Is Good Rock x2

Slaked Thirsts x4
Battle Tested x4

You can do what you want with the rest. But that guarantees getting companions early, has burden removal, plus you can recycle cards with Preparations (and use Sindri to play Battle Tested off of it).
