Roaming Cost Question
« on: October 24, 2009, 12:13:25 pm »
If I use Uruk Regular, does it reduce my second minion's roaming penalty as well?

He doesn't reduce roaming penalties. Just the overall cost.

Hmm...the reason I ask is the similar Cirith Ungol Sentinel (or the one that is -1 per possession). Does he cover the roaming cost as well assuming you spot 4+ possessions?

No, the roaming penalty is separate from the cost of the minion. Unless you've got something that specifically reduces the roaming penalty (like the Sauron trackers from FOTR), you'll have to pay 2 for the minion regardless of how much you reduce its twilight cost.

This is correct.

Another NB's question.

Let's say I play Grishnakh, Orc Captain at site 4.
How much will another Orc, like Orc Savage, cost?
3, or 5? Do I pay the roaming cost?
I think it will be 3, according to what I understand from RedGoldStag, but I want to be sure
Thanks

I have another tracker question.

I am trying to figure out the tracker mechanics.

If I play one orc scout would his roaming penalty be regular or -1?  It doesn't say spot so I am assuming he would be -1.

If I play additional orc scouts, would their roaming penalties be -1 for just those cards, or does it combine with other tracker cards to remove the roaming penalty altogether (-2)?

If you play one Orc Scout, his own roaming penalty is not reduced by his own game text.

If you have two copies of Orc Scout on the table, the roaming penalty for [Sauron] minions played at that point would be -2.
